Ping must be getting blue in the face telling golfers to get over the looks of the G15 hybrid and give it a try.
There is no doubt the Ping G15 is not the most conventional looking golf club in the world but in our recent hybrids test it was one of the stand out clubs in terms of performance – bagging a deserved silver award in the process.
It has been designed with a slightly bulbous toe, a silver face and a large amount of offset – all of which make it easier for the amateur golfer to hit.
But could TG’s Equipment team of Jonathan Greathead and David Connor stomach the look of the club if it performed well in their hands? They took it to the PGA National Academy at The Belfry to find out. See how they got on in the video below.
