Iconic PING brand helps Westwood to top spot

Englishman Lee Westwood trusted PING clubs on his way to victory at the weekend’s Indonesian Masters, a win which elevated him back to the top of the world rankings.

Westwood, who celebrated his 38th birthday in Jakarta, held a five shot lead going into the final round, and a three-under-par round on Sunday gave the Worksop golfer a three-shot victory over Thongchai Jaidee.

Westwood was using PING’s famous G10 driver, as well as an i15 3-wood and a Rapture V2 5-wood.

In our recent driver test the G15, PING’s successor to the super-impressive G10, came out on top for the second year running.

His exemplary work from tee to green was helped by his i10 irons, whilst PING’s Tour-W wedges provided great control around the green.

Westwood also used a PING Redwood Anser putter as he marched to a four-round total of 19-under-par.
