Titleist powers Scott to WGC win

Adam Scott looked rock-solid from tee to green with his Titleist equipment as he romped to victory at the WGC Bridgestone Invitational in Ohio.

There was much talk pre and post-tournament about new caddie Steve Williams who was on the Australian’s bag, but there was no doubting who the star of the show was inside the ropes, as Scott posted a 17-under-par winning total.

He used Titleist’s 910D3 driver which helped put him in command off the tee, as well as the brand’s 910F.d fairway wood, 910H hybrid and MB irons.

Around the greens, Scott trusted the Vokey Design wedges, and putted superbly all week with the Scotty Cameron Kombi long putter.

Scott was joined in the top three by Lee Westwood and David Toms, with each played choosing to use either a Titleist Pro V1 or Pro V1x ball.

The former Players’ Championship winner will hope to continue his fine form in this week’s USPGA in Atlanta.
