North East golfers set for bargains as Direct Golf empire continues to grow

Golfers in the North East will now be able to get their hands on more great deals from Direct Golf, with the company announcing a new retail outlet at Ingleby Barwick.
Direct Golf has enjoyed a record financial year in 2011, and the new store near Stockton-on-Tees joins other new store additions that opened earlier this year in Dundee and Edinburgh.
“We are excited to be adding a retail outlet in the North-East of England. With a great following for Direct Golf UK and already a great customer base here – the North-East has been a long-term target of ours,” said Neil Bell, Managing Director of Direct Golf.
Chris Morgan, Chairman of Ingleby Barwick Golf Academy, said: “We are extremely pleased that Direct Golf UK will be joining us on site at Ingleby Barwick Golf Academy, who in common with our own philosophy is committed to the investment in people. We are looking forward to working with them and are sure it will benefit all concerned.”
As well as 18-hole cours,e Ingleby Barwick also boast the only two-tier floodlit driving range in the area, as well as a three-tier practice putting green.
