Cleveland Launcher FL fairway wood: first-hit video review

The new Cleveland Launcher FL fairway wood is all about weight – or to be more precise, the lack of it.

Cleveland say the Launcher FL is around 30g lighter than most other fairway woods on the market, which equates to a swing speed increase of around 3mph and a distaince gain of 7-10 yards.

This is thanks to a lightweight 43g Miyazaki C.Kua shaft, exclusive to the Launcher range.

The best endorsement so far for the Cleveland Launcher FL fairway wood is the fact that new Cleveland and Srixon player Graeme McDowell has put one in his bag, even though he is only contracted to play their irons, wedges and ball.
