Yonex unveil new EZONE woods

Yonex used the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando to unveil their new EZONE driver which comes in three different head sizes to accommodate golfers of all abilities.

The largest-headed driver is the Type 450, then comes the 420 and then the 380, with the numbers relating to the cc dimensions. Each driver head is a pear-shape design which will utilise a high intensity graphite composite crown and Muscle Power face.

The centre of gravity in the new EZONE driver range is positioned in the middle of the clubhead and by adjusting the position of the centre of gravity Yonex engineers have vastly expanded the size of the sweetspot which translates to sensational distance.

There is also an EZONE fairway wood that features a 455 maraging steel face for longer shots as well as the same Core Centre of Gravity technology as the driver which aids consistency.

The EZONE range if completed by the new hybrid which has been designed to be deliver solid performance even on off-centre strikes. The sole plate is hollowed out too which reduces resistance between the clubhead and he ground which leads to improved contact with the ball for cleaner strikes.
