Paul Lawrie in the bag: Andalucian Open

Wilson Staff player Paul Lawrie won his first title in nine years at the Andalucian Open – just a year after coming back to the brand with which he won the Open Championship in 1999.

The win was the Aberdonian’s sixth on the European Tour and sparked a fantastic weekend for Scottish golf with Glaswegian Martin Laird winning the Bay Hill Invitational on the PGA Tour.

Lawrie rejoined Wilson Staff, with whom he won his only Major title at Carnoustie in 1999, last year and since then has been playing the Wilson FG Tour irons, which grabbed a gold award in the Today’s Golfer irons test in 2010.

He has obviously wasted no time in getting to grips with the Wilson Staff equipment again and has been helping trial the new equipment for 2011 – including the FG Tour wedges and the DXi wood range.

In his bag:

RESCUE: TaylorMade Rescue 19 Voodoo x
IRONS: Wilson Staff FG Tour 3-pw x100 (half inch longer)
