Behind the scenes at the 2011 wedges test

Here at Today’s Golfer we pride ourselves on our extensive testing process, and this month we’ve taken a few behind the scenes pictures to give you an insight into how we go about it.
Generally, one of the TG Equipment team heads up to The Belfry to meet up with one of their excellent PGA Professionals, while two keen-as-mustard amateurs also make the mission to the Midlands to get involved.
This month, the quartet tested wedges, with different criteria being assessed on the way to producing an overall mark for each club.
The Belfry’s Chris Chamberlain excelled with the scoring sticks, while the three amateurs did their best to come up with a helpful and informative test. James Ridyard, himself a PGA Professional, was also on hand to offer tips during the test, as well as provide the state-of-the-art Trackman ball-measuring device.
