PING enjoy double weekend success

PING staffers Bubba Watson and Lee Westwood continued to show just what their gear (and enormous talent) can do as they recorded victories on opposite sides of the world.

Westwood made it two wins in as many weeks after shooting a brilliant final round 67 at the Ballantine’s Championship in Korea, following victory in the previous Indonesian Open.

The recently-crowned world number one used PING i10 irons, as well as G10 driver and i15 fairway wood on his way to a one-shot victory over fellow Ryder Cupper Miguel Angel Jimenez.

American Watson sealed the win at the New Orleans Classic by seeing off Webb Simpson in a play-off after both players finished their fourth round in a tie on 15-under-par.

On the second extra hole, Watson thumped his long approach to the par-5 onto the green before taking a two-putt birdie for the win.

The long-hitting left-hander used PING’s G15 driver and fairway wood, as well as S59 irons, Tour W and Tour S wedges. He also used the Redwood Anser putter.
