In the bag: Bill Haas’ winning FedEx clubs

The equipment Bill Haas used to win the PGA Tour Championship and the FedEx Cup would cost you less than £2,000 to buy in your local pro shop – but it has just won him £7.4m.

The 29-year-old Titleist player beat fellow American Hunter Mahan in a playoff at East Lakes GC in Atlanta to win the Tour Championship and thanks to other players falling down the leaderboard on the final day that was enough to take the coveted cheque for first place in the FedEx Cup as well.

In particular Haas has his Titleist Vokey Spin Milled wedges to thank after splashing out of the water on the 74th hole for an unlikely par to keep him in the playoff.

Here is what he had in his bag:

DRIVER: Titleist 910D2 (8.5°)
FAIRWAY WOOD: Titleist 910F (13.5°)
IRONS: Titleist 712 CB (2 iron); 710 CB (3-PW)
WEDGES: Titleist Vokey Design Spin Milled (54°, 60°)
PUTTER: Scotty Cameron for Titleist Studio Select Kombi (belly)
BALL: Titleist Pro V1x
