Rafael Cabrera-Bello in the bag: Winning Dubai clubs

Spaniard Rafael Cabrera-Bello held off a strong field that included three of the world’s top four players to win his second European Tour title at the Dubai Desert Classic.

Cabrera-Bello was always in contention after an opening 63 and a 68 on the final day was enough to seal the win by one shot from Lee Westwood who failed to get up and down for a birdie at the last to force a playoff.

The 27-year-old from Gran Canaria was flawless tee-to-green as he ranked No1 in Greens in Regulation for the week and the result means he now qualifies for the WGC Accenture Matchplay in Arizona next week.

As well as playing Titleist clubs on his way to victory, the Spaniard was also donning FootJoy’s new range of Performance Apparel as well as FootJoy’s ICON shoe and a FJ RainGrip glove.

Here is what Titleist man Cabrera-Bello had in the bag:

DRIVER: Titleist 910 D3
FAIRWAYS: Titleist 910F (13.5 degree & 17 degree)
IRONS: Titleist 712 MB (3-PW)
WEDGES: Titleist Vokey SM4 (54/11 degree and 60/4 degree)
PUTTER: Scotty Cameron Newport 2 Buttonback
BALL: Titleist ProV1x
