Stanley banishes the demons with maiden PGA Tour win at Scottsdale

A week on from his capitulation at the Farmers’ Insurance Open, Titleist staffer Kyle Stanley secured his maiden PGA Tour title with victory at the Waste Management Phoenix Open.

The 24-year-old fired an impressive 6-under-par final round to finish on 15-under-par, a shot clear of fellow American Ben Crane.

Overnight leader Spencer Levin suffered a nightmare Sunday though, finishing on 13-under after a disappointing 75.

Stanley was using Titleist’s Pro V1x golf ball, as well as the 910D3 driver, 910Fd fairway wood and MB (712) irons.

He also put Vokey Design wedges into play, as well as a Scotty Cameron putter.
