PING i20 driver and irons help Wilson to victory in California

Mark Wilson put PING’s new i20 driver and irons to good effect as he secured his fifth PGA Tour title with victory at the Humana Challenge.

The American holed a 10-foot putt for birdie on the last to give him a two shot victory over John Mallinger, Johnson Wagner and Robert Garrigus.

The long-hitting Garrigus had glory in his sights on the final hole, but he failed to convert a 35-foot effort for eagle moments before Wilson rolled his putt in.

The victory is the first for PING’s new better player range, and we have more information on these exciting new products in the next issue of TG, which goes on sale on January 26.

As well as the new i20 clubs, Wilson was also using PING’s i15 hybrids and Tour-S wedges, as well as a Karsten Anser putter.
