Cleveland launch new 588 forged irons

Cleveland have backed up the introduction of the 588 wedge with the launch of the new 588 forged iron.
Aimed very much at the better player, golfers will be able to buy the new irons in either a Muscle Back or Cavity Back design – both have been engineered using 1025 carbon steel which enhances feel and feature Cleveland’s Tour Zip grooves that are used in the 588 wedges.
The MB irons boast less offset and a short blade length which aids workability, while the CB version offers slightly more forgiveness – perfect for those accomplished players who still want a touch of assistance on long approaches.
It’s also worth noting that Cleveland are offering golfers the opportunity to combine the two sets – essentially having the benefits of a blade in the shorter iron, with more forgiveness in the CB long irons.
Both sets of irons will retail at £599 and are available now.
