Callaway Unveil New HEX Chrome+ Golf Ball

Callaway Golf has launched their new HEX Chrome+ golf ball, a Tour performance ball that delivers high speeds for maximum distance at mid to high clubhead speeds, especially with the driver.

This new ball, which has already captured a top-three finish on the European Tour in the hands of Pablo Larrazabal, features a dual mantle that unlocks distance by increasing speed and minimising spin off the tee, while the soft TPU cover promotes Tour-level control and feel.

“HEX Chrome+ is hands down the fastest Tour Ball we’ve ever designed at Callaway,” said Dave Bartels, Senior Director, Golf Ball R&D, Callaway Golf Company.

“This new four-piece construction has a single-piece core and dual-mantle system that were designed in unison to create more ball speed with the longer clubs without generating excessive spin, leading to longer distance.

“However, what makes the distance of this ball special is that it achieves that distance whilst featuring a soft DuraSpin cover,” continued Bartels. “This urethane cover material not only has great durability, but provides exceptional ‘Tour-level’ control around the green that the best players in the world demand in a premium ball.”

President and Managing Director EMEA, Neil Howie added: “We are now able to offer consumers the opportunity to experience Tour-level performance – increased driver distance and short game feel – at a hugely attractive price.

“What’s more, our Tour players love this ball too. Staff Professional Pablo Larrazabal put this ball straight into competitive play, proving yet again that Callaway has created a product that is equally at home on Tour as it is with amateur golfers.”
