GolfBuddy launch new LR5 laser rangefinder

With an RRP of just £219.95 and using the multiple award-winning technology of its predecessor, this new laser offers golfers accuracy, style and performance at a competitive pricepoint.
The GolfBuddy LR5 is jam-packed with features including: an 880 yard range, yards and metres display, water and dust resistancy, an automatic shut off and a 5000 scan battery life.
The GolfBuddy LR5 benefits from improved ergonomics over the LR4, making it easier to use. ‘Mode’ and ‘Power’ buttons sit alongside each other on the top of the unit, making it simpler for the user to select the operational mode and press the laser.
The battery compartment with its flip-and-twist flap has been relocated to the rear, and a non-slip grip pad has been introduced on the side to give added traction and stability in the hand in wind and rain. A permanent battery power indicator lets users know when it’s time to replace the CR2 3V battery.
An eye-catching new grey and blue casing tops off the updates along with some smart metallic detailing.
The GolfBuddy LR5 is equipped with three operational modes. ‘Scan’ provides a continuous 10-second display of all objects located. ‘Pin’ homes in on the flag and factors out background noise from trees etc, to give precise readings. Wilst ‘Standard’ provides a single distance to any chosen target from flag to dogleg point or hazard edge.
As with all GolfBuddy products, there are no annual membership fees, no hidden costs and the LR5 is ready to go right out of the box.
