Stars set to shine for Leuka Mini Masters

A star-studded line-up is set to take part in actor Dougray Scott’s annual Leuka Mini Masters on Friday July 15th at Dukes Meadows Golf & Tennis in Surrey.

Among those poised to compete on the big day are sporting legends Darren Gough, Mark Foster, Ray Wilkins, Steve Backl;ey and Gianluca Vialli, actor James Nesbitt and TV presenters Gabby Logan and Tim Lovejoy.

Proceedings get underway with breakfast in the clubhouse and bottles of ice-cold Asahi will be available from the gazebo bar on the terrace and in cooler boxes around the course.

On-course the highlights come fast and furious starting on the first hole – a full IJP Design outfit from Ian Poulter’s clothing range is on offer for the player whose ball finishes nearest the pin.

Then, on hole three, Stratstone of Mayfair is putting up an incredible prize – a brand new Jaguar for the first player who scores a hole-in-one!

The Three’s A Crowd Champagne tent will be located on the 5th tee, offering players refreshment before they attempt to win an OMEGA Seamaster watch for nearest the pin.

Jagermeister shots will be available from the bar on the 6th tee, before competitors tackle the longest hole on the course, measuring 155 yards.

The 126-yard 7th hole is sponsored by YourGolfTravel.com, who are offering a three-night stay for two people, including B&B and two rounds of golf, at Las Colinas Golf & Country Club in Spain.

Spotify sponsor hole eight, which features a particularly difficult three-tier green and brings players and guests back towards the Jagermeister Stage, where seven live bands will be playing between 12noon and 6pm.

The 9th hole, sponsored by Jagermeister, has been specially rerouted for the Leuka Mini Masters to create a knee-knocking challenge that includes a 107-yard carry over water to a truly evil pin setting.

At the close of play, the prize-giving will take place on the clubhouse terrace at 6.30pm with the winning team being presented with the Silver Pitching Wedge, created by Thomas Lyte, and the winning celebrity being helped into a brand new Gold Jacket, designed by tailors Thom Sweeney.

It should be a day to remember….
