Golf LIVE tees off on Friday

This Friday Golf LIVE will open its doors to the public for the second time at the London Club, and after a hugely successful inaugural event last year, 2011 promises a bigger show with more entertainment on offer to golfers of all standards.
Golf LIVE offers something completely new to golf fans because is it built around leading Tour Professionals who entertain visitors by showing off their skills in specially created ‘on-course theatres’ and takes place in an environment where spectators are actively encouraged to be involved at every opportunity over the three day event.
Colin Montgomerie will again be headlining the event and he is joined by a lengthy list of other Tour stars including Darren Clarke, Paul McGinley, Thomas Bjorn, David Howell, Michael Campbell, Ian Woosnam, Nick Dougherty and Thomas Levet.
They will be joined by a host of familiar faces from all parts of the game including media personalities and presenters Di Dougherty, Peter Alliss, Ian Carter and Shane O’Donoghue, as well as renowned coaches Denis Pugh and Paul Hurrion.
Other special guests include World Long-Drive Champion, Joe Miller, and trick-shot master, Jeremy Dale.
In addition to the pros showing off their skills, other features of the show include an outdoor grass driving range where the public can try the very latest equipment from leading manufacturers and an exhibition area containing many of golf’s best brands from travel, accessories and fashion.
