Macmillan Golf Event Looks To Raise Half a Million

Macmillan have a long standing relationship with golf, in helping to raise the much needed funds to support their work.
This year they have launched the Big Golf Drive, an exciting new golf day where all the greens fees paid to partner clubs will go directly to the cancer charity.
This idea has come to fruition thanks to the hard work of those at Macmillan and those at Teeofftimes.co.uk, who are supporting the event.
They have secured promotional tee times at selected clubs from the 21st to 27th of August, and on those days your green fee will go directly to Macmillan.
They hope the scheme will raise up to £500,000 in 2012 from the Longest Day Challenge, plus the new Big Golf Drive event.
