Britain’s biggest golf magazine is seeking a features editor to work within a creative team and make the No.1 title even better. 

Responsibilities include planning, commissioning and creating features to a very high editorial standard, managing freelancers and ensuring briefs and deadlines are met, editing the front end section and generating content for our website and social media.

The successful candidate will be bursting with brilliant ideas. You’ll have a genuine passion for golf, a strong knowledge of the game, and have the ability to turn your hand to anything, from an interview with Tiger Woods to spending a day trying to break a golf world record. You’ll also relish the challenge of creating exceptional content under the pressure of tight deadlines.

Previous editorial experience on a consumer magazine is essential, and candidates will ideally have worked in a section editor’s role.

Duties include:
•      Planning and executing inspirational features
•      Commissioning content from freelance writers
•      Editing and developing the front end section
•      Generating ideas for all sections of the magazine
•      Attending press trips in the UK and abroad
•      Representing Today’s Golfer in the golf industry

This is a full-time post based in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire.
