Britain’s biggest golf media brand is looking for a Senior Web Producer to oversee the award-winning Today’s Golfer website.

The Senior Web Producer is central to the digital production of the Today’s Golfer brand. Working with the Digital Business Manager and Today’s Golfer Editor to fulfil objectives and create and action strategic decisions vital for the success of the Today’s Golfer site.

The Senior Web Producer will act as liaison between the Editorial teams and the Commercial and Marketing teams, develop digital skills within the Editorial teams, manage the six-month web plans for the website, manage the post-launch production of iPad editions across sport and discover new ways to create content. They would also work with the relevant editorial, commercial and marketing teams to develop new ways of growing traffic and increasing revenue.

The Senior Web Producer is responsible for ensuring we deliver the best quality digital product by creating best practice for content and achieving website KPIs, working with the editor of Today’s Golfer to generate a six-month web plan that is seasonal, ties in with print issue content and is manageable by the editorial team.

The candidate must have a strong interest in technology and future digital trends. The Senior Web Producer would be a leading force in finding new ways to produce content.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

– Maintaining the six month web plan
– Reporting on KPIs and site stats
– Produce seasonal content such as the Major tournament micro sections, Top 100 Golf Course rankings and golf equipment launch specials
– Work with the commercial team to produce creative commercial pitches

Key Skills

– HTML, CSS, CMS, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, understanding of SEO best practice, Social Media strategy, Video Editing, Analytics knowledge, Commercial acumen.

Desirable Skills

– Adobe InDesign, CRM, Dreamweaver.
– An advantage would be a knowledge and /or interest in golf and the market.
