Lucky golfers secure golf breaks in the sun

Ten keen golfers from the UK and Ireland are heading off on holiday after winning prizes in a competition promoted by two Yorkshire-based companies, golfdelaluz.com and Direct Golf.

Holiday specialist golfdelaluz.com and Europe’s award-winning multi-channel specialist golf retailer, Direct Golf, joined forces to offer a variety of golf breaks in a free-to-enter competition to celebrate the former’s 10th anniversary – with golfers from across the UK and Ireland winning prizes.

Steve Fletcher from Birmingham, was presented with a voucher for his four-night break at the Robinson Club, Quinta da Ria, on the Algarve, by Jonny Lord, a director of golfdelaluz.com, at Direct Golf’s Solihull store.

Fletcher said: “I was surprised when I received the phone call. I am really looking forward to the trip now and the sun. Thank you to both Direct Golf and golfdelaluz.com and I will keep looking out for further competitions.”
