Keep your game sharp for when golf returns

Golf will come back!

I’m writing this from my dining room, after our offices were locked down and more than 1,000 employees told to work from home with 48 hours notice. I played my last round of golf on Sunday 22 March. Like you, I have no idea when I’ll play again. I’ve never experienced anything like this. I hope I never do again.

Right now, I’m gazing outside at the improving weather, watching re-runs of The Open on Sky and just praying the Coronavirus pandemic can be brought under control, we can somehow limit the devastation to families, jobs and the economy, and we can get back to our daily lives sooner, rather than later.

Until then, though, TG will be here to entertain you through these uncertain times. We won’t be going anywhere, and already have plenty of content lined up in print and at todaysgolfer.co.uk – from big interviews (Tour players have a lot of time on their hands at the moment!), a “green golf” special and an issue dedicated to the practice you can do in your garden.

Right now, we don’t know how long we’ll be stuck indoors. So, in the event of it being difficult for you to find TG in the future, we will ensure the magazine will still be available on digital platforms.

If you can’t find the magazine, or if you’re stuck at home, please consider:

– Downloading the Today’s Golfer app from the iOS and Android app stores. We have some superb one-off subscription offers in place, with discounts up to 50 per cent, or you can purchase single issues.

– Finding us on Apple News on your iPhone, iPad or Mac.

– You can download the magazine from the Amazon Newstand

If you are a print subscriber and we cannot deliver to you owing to the Covid-19 situation, please visit www.greatmagazines.co.uk where further information will be provided.

Things will improve. Golf will return. Until then, stay safe.
