5. The Ginger Beer Bunkers
Two small bunkers behind the 4th green where David Anderson (a caddie and greenkeeper in the 1850s) ran a ginger beer stall when he retired. He didn’t pitch his stall at the 9th because he was a canny Scot, and wanted to sell his drinks on the way out, as well as on the way in.
