The 2007 Banks and Brokers Golf Championship venues and dates are as follows:

Round 1:   Mill Ride Golf Club, Berkshire – Friday 8th June
Round 2:   Foxhills Club & Resort, Surrey – Friday 29th June
The Grand Final:  The Grove, Hertfordshire – Friday 10th August

The top three scoring teams from each of the two Qualifying Rounds will qualify to play in The Grand Final on Friday 10th August at the The Grove in Hertfordshire. The Grove is widely regarded as one of the finest new golf courses in Europe and recently hosted the American Express World Golf Championships.

Superb prizes are on offer at the qualifying rounds and Grand Final where the overall winning team will receive The Banks and Brokers Golf Championship trophy.

The reigning champions are team ‘Carefree’ who were victorious at Hanbury Manor with a great stableford score of 92 points. Team ‘Carefree’ included captain David Heffer (Tradition UK), Peter Ives (ICAP), Lee Stewart (Rabobank), Ron Neale (IG Index) and Matthew Farrell (Martin Brokers).

In addition to the golf, the 2006 Banks and Brokers Golf Championship raised over £1000 for Oxfam. 

The Banks and Brokers Golf Championship is an exciting team golf event and a favourite sporting fixture for golfers working in the financial sector.  The event is open to all Banks, Broking Houses, Building Societies, Investment Companies, Credit Analysts, Hedge Funds, Financial Accountants and any other individuals and organisations operating in finance.

In addition to competitive rivalry, the competition is a marvellous opportunity for networking and entertaining important clients at prestigious golfing venues.  There are a limited number of team places available at each regional qualifying round so please book early to avoid any disappointment.
