Golfers Battle 50 mph Gusts On The Players Tour At Prince’s

The Players Tour arrived at 2013 Amateur Championship venue Prince’s this week, where competitors were met with unbelieveable winds.

The country’s finest upcoming stars tackled the 7,200-yard former Open Championship venue for the third event of the Players Tour season.

While none of the field could break par, Max Brackley’s four-over 76 to win will surely be among his finest ever rounds, and earned him the £1,100 winner’s cheque.

David Gregory finishing two back on six-over-par, while Stuart Brown (79), amateur Josh Tobin (80) and Lewis Adair (81) also delivered very solid rounds in the extremely tough conditions.

The Players Tour continues on Thursday the 25th of April for it’s first 36 hole event of the season at Heythrop Park in Oxfordshire.
