Prince’s Set To Stage PGA EuroPro Tour Season Finale

Prince’s Golf Club is set to host the EuroPro Tour’s season finale in 2013 in October.

The third tier pro tour will play 54 holes over the famous Kent links from Tuesday October 15th until Thursday October 17th.

The top-60 players on the Tour’s Order of Merit after the final regular-season event at Moor Allerton Golf Club in Leeds will be invited to play at Tour Championship, where they will compete for a share of an increased prize fund of £60,000.

Providing the biggest payout of the season, the Tour Championship will be decisive in completing the Order of Merit and determining the final top-five, who will be rewarded with a category on the 2014 Challenge Tour.

Highlights of the Tour Championship will be screened on Sky Sports HD in an extended three-hour programme.

Daniel Godding, Director of Operations on the PGA EuroPro Tour said: “Prince’s is one of the country’s best Links courses and that is why we have decided to stage our Tour Championship there.

“The Shore and Dunes courses make up a superb championship course and are sure to provide our top-60 golfers with one of the toughest tests of the season.”

The Tour season gets underway with the Motocaddy Masters at Wensum Valley Hotel, Golf and Country Club in Norfolk on April 30th.
