Shingo Katayama has the weirdest golf warm-up you’ve ever seen

There wasn’t much for the Asian team to get excited about during the 2016 EurAsia Cup, as Darren Clarke’s troops dominated proceedings in Kuala Kumpur, strolling to a 18.5-5.5 victory.

There was one highlight, though, in the form of Shingo Katayama’s rather distinctive warm-up.

He starts his routine hitting balls left-handed, without a takeaway, off a high tee. Despite being a right-hander…

After hitting some standard pitch shots, he makes some three-quarter swings with a ball wedged between his arms.

It certainly beats our usual routine of legging it from the car park and topping one off the first tee.
