WGC Dell Match Play: Group Standings and match results
The first two days of the WGC Dell Match Play has been full of shock surprises, with both 2017 finalists Dustin Johnson and Jon Rahm being eliminated after just two matches in their groups.
World No.1 Dustin Johnson, who didn’t trail in a single match last year, struggled on both days, being bested by Bernd Wiesberger and Adam Hadwin.
There’s still a lot to play for in the Friday matches, with Jordan Spieth and Patrick Reed setting up the most talked about contest that will see the winner progress to the weekend, and Rory McIlroy needs a win over Brian Harman if he is to make it through. Other head to heads include Justin Thomas and Francesco Molinari, Sergio Garcia and Xander Schauffele, Alex Noren and Tony Finau – while some groups have all four players still in the race
