Adam Scott had his Scotty Cameron putter to thank after a 48-foot monster effort saw him land his second title of the year at the Byron Nelson Championship.
The Australian triumphed after a play-off with Ryan Moore, with Scott canning his sensational putt at the third extra hole.
The 27-year-old became the first player to win using Titleist’s new AP2 irons when he claimed victory at the Qatar Masters in January, and Scott was again using the Advanced Performance clubs at the Texas event last week.
The AP2 irons feature a multi-material construction and dual cavity design that combine to provide ultimate forgiveness and feel for the golfer.
