This famous course begins and ends in fine style which helps you forget about the modest holes in the middle. Woburn is a well-run operation so is able to keep its three courses in good condition. Ian Poulter is attached here having grown up nearby and you can be sure he used to enjoy firing wedges from the elevated tee to the green way below on the picturesque 125-yard 3rd.
