It’s difficult not to love this historic course, which is attached to the 7th oldest golf club in the world. It feels as if more should be heard of Old Tom’s quirky wind-swept clifftop affair. There are some weak holes on the back nine but plenty of crackers routed over rocky bays from elevated tees or into elevated greens.
