The Duke of Roxburghe is the driving force behind this Borders parkland, but despite being a fine golfer even the Duke might find Dave Thomas’ 7,111-yard layout a struggle. Play it off the yellows at 6,546 and you can enjoy the surrounding countryside – including the famous 14th hole, ‘Viaduct’.
