2-FORE!-1soldestcourses

All golfers love playing mature, well established courses and the good news is that there’s a whole bunch of such venues in our 2-FORE!-1 Golf scheme.

And leading the way is the Old Course at Musselburgh Links GC – officially the oldest golf course in the world…golf was first played on this historic piece of land in the middle of the 16th century!

Not lagging too far behind is another Scottish cracker, the Medal Course at Montrose where you can also tee it up in 2-FORE!-1 Golf which means you can play for half the normal green fee price so long as you’ve got a 2-FORE!-1 Golf voucher. Golf has been played at Montrose for over 400 years.

Another veteran star of 2-FORE!-1 Golf is Royal North Devon, founded in 1864 making it the oldest course in England.

Meanwhile, Runcorn GC is celebrating its centenary year this year while Colchester GC, Essex, did so in 1907.

Another excellent inland ‘centurion’ course well worth paying a visit is Goring & Streatley, Berkshire, which reached the magical three-figure mark nearly 20 years ago.
