This is the second in our new series looking at great 2-FORE!-1 Golf courses in and around Britain’s main cities.
After kicking-off with Coventry last week, we turn our attention to the golfing delights based around the city of Bristol.
Probably the pick of the classy Bristol bunch is The Players Club which opened seven years ago and, being one of the country’s longest layouts and featuring water features galore, provides a stern golfing challenge. To say the least…
The Bristol GC just off the M4 motorway is well worth teeing it up on and you’ll also enjoy the short but testing parkland tracks of Knowle and Shirehampton Park.
But you’ll probably have the most fun at the quirky par-67 course of Painswick – new to 2-FORE!-1 Golf this year and certain to provide bags of thrills and spills.
