Member for a day scheme at two top clubs

Golfers now have the unique opportunity to become members for a day at two of the UK’s most prestigious clubs.

The imaginative concept will operate at top 2-FORE!-1 venue Manor House Hotel and Golf Club in Wiltshire, already ranked among the top 50 Stay and Play venues in the UK, and the 36-hole Mannings Heath GC in West Sussex, one of the longest established  courses in England.

The offer is being made by the Exclusive Hotels Group which owns both resorts and aims to give interested golfers a taste of club life and the chance to experience the challenge of the golf courses before making any decision about permanent membership.

The “member for a day” scheme will be available until 31st December at both venues and is designed to encourage newcomers to sample the wide range of facilities without the need for a formal introduction.

The added bonus at Mannings Heath is that interested golfers will have the chance to play the historic 6, 683 yard Waterfall course that is normally exclusively reserved for members and their guests as well as corporate golf days. It is also the venue for the 2013 English Women’s Amateur Strokeplay Championship.

Visitors to Mannings Heath will be entitled to a round of golf plus a 30-minute lesson from an experienced PGA professional followed by lunch from the Best of British Menu for a total cost of £35.

The programme at Manor House ranked No. 1 golf course in the county offers a round of golf, the use of a buggy and lunch for £35.90. Executive staff at both resorts will be on hand to outline and explain all aspects of membership.
