Leeds Golf centre helps put Parry back on track

Yorkshire golfer, John Parry, who won back his European Tour card at the end of 2012 after a victorious performance at the Catalunya Golf Resort, has praised the facilities and staff at Leeds Golf Centre after a close season of solid effort to secure his place back among golf’s elite.

John, 26, has worked tirelessly at Leeds Golf Centre over the last few months to hone his game in an effort to win back his card, having won the Vivendi Trophy in his first full season on the European Tour back in 2010.

John said: “I couldn’t have secured my card back without having ready access to the best facilities that improve and develop my game. Leeds Golf Centre is the ideal place to go, especially during winter months, to ensure you give yourself the best opportunity as a result of its commitment to employ high-tech solutions that help portray a golf swing.

“The two fully-loaded FlightScope swing studios in particular are absolutely fantastic and I would encourage anyone looking to shape up their swing to give it a go.

“I’d also like to say thank you to all the staff at Leeds Golf Centre who have been very supportive in recent years. It has been a pleasure practising there and watching it grow into one of the best all-round golf facilities in the region.”

Leeds Golf Centre’s Operations Manager, Nigel Sweet, added: “We’re delighted to have helped John on his journey back to the European Tour and are very proud of his efforts. Everyone here wishes him all the best and we look forward to seeing him represent Leeds and Yorkshire once more!”
