Golf breaks simply don’t come much bigger or better than this…
Scotland’s legendary Turnberry Resort is giving golfers the opportunity to walk in the footsteps of golfing legends in two weeks’ time by lining up in the Open Links Classic Tournament.
Taking place from Sunday 4 May – Tuesday 6 May, golfing guests will play the awesome Ailsa course (pictured) on the first day – setting for the infamous ‘Duel in the Sun’ in 1977 – followed by a welcome dinner in the resort’s signature restaurant, 1906.
On the Monday you’ll tee it up at nearby Royal Troon – which will host the Open Championship in 2016 – and on the final day, competitors will play at historic Prestwick GC – where the world’s first Open Championship was held in 1860.
The tournament will end with a special prizegiving ceremony and lunch.
Prices start from £650 per room based on two people sharing, including two nights’ accommodation and breakfast in Turnberry’s golf Lodges, and taking part in the Open Links Classic.
The Stableford competition will be played in teams of two and handicap certificates are required.
