The open, linksy feel of Empordà Golf Club – composed of two nines built 14 years apart – allows you to clock the snow-clad Pyrenees between shots. Longer rough and ground swells are intended to add to the links theme, but the lakes detract from it. This golf course is a severe test, good enough for European Tour qualifying – with stacks of bunkers and water. Great fun and the perfect partner for Emporda's claustrophobic Forest golf course.

Excellent Emporda
We played both course. The Forest course was special. Greens were fantastic. Their Links course was not as good but it was fine since it was our second round of the day.Still a lot of work being done around the clubhouse which did not match the quality of the Forest course. Well worth a visit.
