Some may feel Fairhaven’s move from its first site adjacent to Fairhaven Lake was a mistake – but their move half a mile inland was forced by the tide on one side and building on the other. The new land was fairly flat but JA Steer and James Braid landscaped the new course impressively, including a terrific opening hole.
