What we say...

4 out of 5

Good example of a heather and pine course, whose best hole is the cracking 6th. A course that takes you on a lovely journey. Some really good holes in a dreamy setting. A mini Augusta...on the edge of, um, Bournemouth. This classic heathland keeps impressing. Ferndown's immaculate mixture of heather and pine is a winning combination: it's also a course of tight fairways, subtle greens and plentiful bunkers requiring careful strategy as opposed to brute force.
