CLUB COMMENT: Three greens re-laid over the winter.

It is always in immaculate condition as one would expect of a course which closes over the winter, is tended to by an army of greenkeepers and receives play only from a handful of members and the European Tour once a year. Players at the Scottish Open were full of praise for the new greens, which were relaid this year after the hard winter. The stretch from the 5th to the 7th along the shores of the loch are the pick of the front nine while the quartet from the 12th is the best run on the course.
