Stoke Rochford Golf Club

What we say

A well established parkland layout that guarantees a testing – even though there are only ten bunkers to negotiate – and enjoyable round. Mature timber flanks most fairways as the layout meanders alongside the A1 before criss-crossing the Cringle Brook and returning to a homely clubhouse.

Established in 1923, Stoke Rochford Golf Club, situated a few miles from Grantham, offers an 18 hole parkland course, designed by S V Hotchkin. The course is surrounded by dense woodland and features undulating terrain and a few defensive bunkers. The flora and fauna surrounding the club is very varied, making for a scenic, challenging experience.

  • 4 out of 5 Stoke

Stoke is a woodland course that is challenging to high handicap players, The greens are a tad faster than what I'm used to but became used to them quite quickly, an enjoyable well kept course with fantastic views. The club house is also well kept with friendly staff with a good choice of food and beverages. The Pro's shop is well stocked and manned by very helpful, friendly staff with smiling faces. Enjoyed my visit and have since returned as I enjoyed it so much,.

  • 4 out of 5 A true gem with outstanding hospitality

    By Happy Golfers

Moving to the area in January 2015 after many years abroad. Visited all the clubs within a 15 mile radius and without doubt Stoke Rochford came out on top! The hospitality shown on arrival from the pro's and members was wonderful - My wife and I can't wait to make new friends and become active members.

I wish that I lived nearer, I would become a full member. A well kept course that makes you think twice before you choose your club, because of the undulating course and greens. A joy every time I play here and with a welcome feeling from staff and players.
