  • Pros

Fantastic over short putts due to the high MOI and the alignment aid works well.

  • Cons

It is a very big putter, which may put people off – despite its performance.

What we say...

Long Term Test – Jonathan Greathead 10 hcap

The looks take some getting used to – the head is huge – but don’t be put off. The solitary sight line behind the face helps you to gain focus, so much so that you almost forget about the size. Higher MOI prevents twisting and has proved invaluable over short putts. The headcover also stays on – rare these days.

2012 Putters Test

The Drone is enormous, and while this cost it points in the looks category, the performance points to a solid product. Richard thought it was quite light too, considering the size. Try it before parting with your cash.

With Method putter technology having proven itself at Tour level with two major championship wins, the Nike Method Core Drone Golf Putter is now available for you to lower your golf score too. Soft polymer and milled steel grooves give a faster, more controlled forward roll at impact eliminating backspin and problems like skidding and hopping, so you can drop more putts.

This Nike Method Core Drone Golf Putter also features smoother forward roll from Polymetal groove technology, lower impact vibrations from the polymer-aluminum insertt, leading to more accurate putts.

Nike Putters User Reviews

  • 5 out of 5 Space age looks but a superb confidence inspiring putter

    By Bungle

Having never owned a Nike club let alone one of their putters I tested one out at Cambridge Golf & Conference centre where there is a Direct Golf shop. I tested the belly putter version. After just a few trial puts I felt really comfortable with the balance and weight (it feels a lot lighter than it looks) and the longer shaft of the belly putter ensures a really smooth putting action and no yips or wristy actions. The putter face is beautifully machined and the polymer inserts and design get the ball rolling really quickly with no backspin or bouncing. I'm now converted. It had helped reduce my scores and I fell so much more confident to attack longer puts now. Highly rated quality putter with superb design, well made and a superb grip to boot. One happy customer...
