Despite there being zero water on the golf course, there are plenty of obstacles to overcome throughout the round. Notably, 98 bunkers that have been expertly positioned to catch out even the slightest of wayward golf shots.
You’ll need to bring your A-game to Sherwood Forest if you have any hope of scoring well. To score well the importance of hitting sweet and straight tee shots cannot be overstated, with punishing swathes of heather encompassing the fairways and demanding the ball to carry off the tee.
The easier nine at Sherwood Forest is undoubtedly the front nine, so be sure to save your best golf for the turn home! The back nine is extremely demanding with two long par-3s and only the one par-5, which in no way is a guaranteed par or better.
