Devon’s Dartmouth Golf & Country Club have announced the third phase of the extensive £½ million refurbishment programme, which will commence in January.

Following the impressive results of their hotel refurbishment programme earlier this year, the club will be investing a further £150,000 in their food and beverage offerings at the club.

The revamped bar and bistro will be fresh and vibrant with a new layout, stylish furniture and contemporary furnishings.

The new comfortable interior will maximise the breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding valley and lakes.  In addition, the plans also include a modern sports bar showing all the live sporting events.

Work will commence in January and will be completed within just 8 weeks. The club employs over 60 local people and is estimated to bring in over £3.5 million to the South Devon economy.

Club managing director Jamie Waugh says: “We are absolutely delighted to be re-investing in the fantastic product we have here in Dartmouth – despite the international economic downturn.

“We are certain that the results will enable the rest of our facilities to match the excellent quality of the hotel and golf courses – firmly establishing our place as Devon’s premier Golf & Leisure Resort”.
