Final preparations are underway at Lough Erne Golf Resort, near Enniskillen, Northern Ireland, on an elegant 38,000sq ft clubhouse which will open on July 17th  – soon after the much talked about opening of the  7,261 yard Faldo Course.

The Loughside Clubhouse Bar & Grill will be open to everyone and is situated next to the hotel overlooking the 18th hole of The Faldo Course and Castle Hume Lough.

This five star clubhouse has been designed to not only reflect the style and quality of the hotel but also provide the identical element of warmth and welcome synonymous with the hotel since it opened in 2007.

On completion, The Loughside Clubhouse Bar & Grill will incorporate an extensive 1,500 sq ft retail outlet offering some of the best known brands in the game and a personalised embroidery service for those guests looking to add that little extra to their attire.

The comprehensive menu served in the 70 seat Restaurant and Bar on the ground floor of the Clubhouse will introduce an eclectic mix of time-honoured golfers fayre with an Irish twist such as the “Loughside Steak & Guinness Pie with Traditional Champ”.

Highlight of the menu is undoubtedly the choice of “grills” featuring Dexter beef which originated in South West Ireland and is a distinctive rare breed of sweet tasting beef.

Golf enthusiasts will no doubt be eager to be the first to play Ireland’s newest golfing masterpiece and sample the delights of the 19th hole.
