Star-studded charity event at K Club

A star-studded line-up is set to compete in the Firstlight Challenge at the K Club, Ireland, on June 21-22.

The major charity event – backed by global fractional ownership specialist Firstlight International – is being held to raise money for the Special Olympics.

Celebrity guests set to take part include Kevin Keegan, David Platt, Dwight Yorke, Andy Cole, Ben Shepherd and Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint plus a host of other well known names.

It will be held over the famous Ryder Cup venue’s two championship courses – the Palmer Ryder Cup layout and the Arnie Palmer-designed Smurfit. Both days will be shotgun starts so the field is limited to just 18 teams.

Teams (made up of three players plus a celebrity) are priced at 3,000 euros and include: two nights’ B&B at the luxury K Club hotel, two days competitive golf, charity auction dinner on day 1 where 500 euros of the entry fee goes towards your bid for the celeb you wish to join your team on day 2, and presentation BBQ on day 2.

Major Golf will be running the event and have individual places in teams available at 1,000 euros per player. For more details and to book a team/place call 01625 598084 or e-mail dp@majorgolfevents.co.uk
