Top country hotel tees up golf packages

Multi award-winning hotel Ballathie House near Perth has teed up golf packages with one of Scotland’s top inland courses for as little as £77 per day.

 

The package at the 41 bedroom hotel on the banks of the River Tay at Kinclaven includes bed, breakfast and a round of golf on the renowned Rosemount or Landsdowne championship courses at Blairgowrie, a short (car) drive away.

 

A double room is £174 (£77 per person) until 31 March or £204 (£102 p.p. including two rounds of golf). Packages are available until mid–October.

 

Dinner can be enjoyed in its 2 AA Rosettes restaurant from £43.50 p.p. In 2010 Ballathie was voted Scotland’s best rural restaurant in the Hotel of the Year Awards and is a former country house hotel of the year.

Accommodation and golf are subject to availability. Golf is not available on Wednesdays, or on Saturdays or Sundays until 2 pm.
