It’s back! After a two-year hiatus, the Top 100 courses guide for Great Britain and Ireland has been compiled by Golf World once again…only this time a new course is top of the pile.
After a six year stay at number one, Turnberry Ailsa course has now been dislodged and there are plenty of other surprises along the way as well.
Since our last guide in 2010, various courses have been added and removed from the Top 100 by our experienced, expert panellists.
One of the newest editions, Trump International, enters eighth on our list and had it not been for its relative infancy, it could have featured even higher!
However, it is the number one ranking that everyone looks out for and this year is no different.
But with Muirfield, Royal Portrush and St Andrews (Old) all outside the top three, which course now attains the new number one status?
